It can be a mild tmj problem.. nothing major since there is no pain involved.. mild clicking is normal.. stiffness of muscles can be because of hyperactivity of joint.. best course is to limit excess mouth opening for a few days and application of voveron jelly.. that should help for now.

Apply heat or cold packs alternatively for 15 mins. Eat soft foods – Avoid hard, chewy, or sticky foods that strain the jaw. Limit excessive jaw movements – Minimize yawning, chewing gum, or wide mouth opening. Do few exercises like 1) Gentle jaw stretches – Open your mouth slowly and hold for a few seconds. 2) Side-to-side movement – Move your jaw gently from side to side. 3) Resisted jaw opening/closing – Apply gentle resistance with your hand while opening/closing your mouth. If pain persists, then consult your near by Dentist
