Jaw pain and radiating to neck
Sir, I have jaw pain both sides since 2yrs, pain radiating to neck and throat and to face also, I have consulted dentist and xray and cbct scan also done, but nothing is there in reports, I don't have clicking sounds in my jaw and I can open my mouth easily so dentist's are saying that it's not TMJ, I don't have clicking sounds but I have pain jaw area and neck and throat also I have tooth pain due to this, I have consulted neurologist also then they suggested MRI also but nothing found in that, I don't know what to do now, please help me out, if I dnt have clicking sounds it's not TMJ?

Do you have a habit of grinding your teeth in your sleep? Or clenching when stressed/angry? Overactive muscles of mastication can result in the symptoms that you have mentioned. However it may be just one of the many reasons causing your symptoms.

If there is no clicking sound, that doesn't mean you don't have tmj disorders. If there is no history of trauma or impacted wisdom tooth it can be muscle spasm .to relieve pain,you have to take muscle relaxants and steroids if necessary. You can consult me through this for prescription. Thanks
