Hi, it is most likely that you have a joint problem in the area where your lower jaw bone connects to the skull bone which is called tempero-mandibular joint (TMJ). This could arise because of various reasons like - genetic, hormonal changes, any irregular position of teeth, depression, stress or due to problems in sleeping. It can also occur due to your repeated clenching or grinding of your teeth especially during night time. Kindly, do confirm with your sleeping partner if you do grind your teeth during sleep, as this may lead to your muscle pain near the ears and cheeks. In case you have improper position of teeth and you are undergoing braces treatment to get it aligned, kindly remember that braces treatment may or may not cure your TMJ problem. It depends on patient to patient. So, I would advice you to consult a TMJ specialist for your problem.
Next Steps
Consult a TMJ specialist soon after lockdown
Health Tips
Meanwhile you can take painkillers, muscle relaxants and can apply warm pack over the area, where you have pain

It is sign of joint problem. When there is abnormal force( More than it can bear or in wrong direction) it tells the body that I am being overloaded. Give it absolute rest for 1 week. U can apply dry heat  from outside 2-3 times a day which relaxes the ligaments and muscles. Use a pain killer with muscle relaxant for few days. Even improper teeth alignment may also be a reason.
Next Steps
Once situation of COVID pandemic is settled consult a Doctor and get it evaluated. As of now use medication and take soft food for a week.
Health Tips
*Do not Neglect - As u need to use the joint for ur lifetime. *Giving Rest is the key- Body will take care of the rest. When in pain do not irritate it more. *Learn jaw exercises with the suggestion of a doctor once the pain comes down to strengthen the joint ligaments and muscles
