Jaw clicking and popping
My right jaw joint clicks and pops while opening my mouth and eating and my lower jaw/chin deviates towards the left side creating an assymetric face profile. I have mild pain and an uncomfortable feeling on my right jaw joint from time to time when I exert it too much and after violent clicking. What is the treatment for this and is it treatable without surgery?

This seems like a consequence of excessive jaw biting and jaw clenching. Please visit an oromaxillofacial surgery specialist or general surgeon to consult and understand treatment options. Common treatment options include using a mouth guard, botox injections in the jaw muscles to relieve the muscle contraction and sometimes surgery can be indicated.
