Hi doc,
I am having pcod and trying to conceive from last 2 years. Today is 6th day of my cycle. Due to lockdown, i got to know hospital is not operational these days but today only i got to know that they are doing fertility treatments.
As medicated IUI will not be possible this month. Should I go for IUI with follicular study?. As i am having pcod so i am concerned that whether it will be beneficial for me or not??

Trying naturally will be beneficial if you are a case of pcod. Natural cycle chances are lower in cases where there are ovulation issues ( such as pcos).
Next month your can start with proper ovulation induction and monitoring.

Ya go for IUI
In this lockdown period the best can be done so why to lose a chance ,,, moreover you never know which method will suit you ,,
In
Infertility treatment there is no hard and fast rule
I have experience of patient getting pregnant natural way ,
( tried all iVF and IUI , frustrated left everything after few months conceived without any treatment)
As a whole the success rate of non-medicated IUI is much lower than when we use medicines. Moreover in PCOS, the chance of spontaneous follicular growth is less. It's better to postpone IUI. However, if you strongly feel to do IUI without medicines, you must do follicular study to find out the time of IUI.
