Itching in anus
Respected dr,
My sister is suffering from itchy anus from past 1 week and she faces this mostly at night or the time she lay down straight. She is becoming irritated due to this. I have attached pics . Please tell us what is this and why is it happening? Thankyou.

It may be due to a worm infestation.
Albendazole 400 mg once is advised
If the itching is severe cetrizine 10 mg once daily could be taken.

Perianal itching mostly due to worm infestation
U can take tab albendazole 400mg once a day only for 1 day
And tab L zine 5mg od for itching

The reason could be due worms
Might require deworming medicine
If she doesn't had the medicine T.Albendazole 400 in last 6 months she can take one tablet at night after food it is only for one day
