My daughter 5 yrs old was hit with a tennis ball 2-3 days back and her two front tooth of lower jaw was started moving.  It gives pain while moving it through tongue.  I consulted dentist and the doctor done the xray and  inform root was fine but tissue are little bit harmed.  Advice for fixation.  Hence please suggest.

Namaskaram, Children often knock their front teeth . Teeth that are chipped, cracked or broken can often be restored to a good appearance and function but sometimes if the damage is significant like the tooth being mobile then the dentist will opt for splinting of the tooth for the bone and the surrounding structures to heal for a couple of weeks to a month. Once the dentist feels that the tooth has been successfully implanted he shall be removing the splint. Team Shambhala

no need to worry about... just take her to nearby dentist and get her clinical check up once... but i think the problem will subside by medication only... u can go for splints or fixation...

Hi sir,     Good day First of all do treatment for soft tissue injuries... For the teeth , usually the subsequent permanent lower front teeth erupt at 7-8 years, if the roots are fine as your doctor said do fixation or if the roots started to resorb wait and watch.. If any symptoms like continues Pain better to go for removal in case of root resorption... Thank you
