Is orthodontist a dentist,too?
Iam going under orthodontic  treatment(  7months passed )...and my teeth started getting small cavities...so what should I do? And whom should I see for the treatment of cavities- an orthodontist or a dentist? Iam afraid that after one year when my braces will get off the teeth , my cavities will become much larger and almost all my teeth  may get decayed :( :( :( :( :(:(:( :(

You can get your cavities filled while undergoing braces treatment. Don't wait till your braces treatment is over, or else the cavities might deepen.
Health Tips
you can ask your dentist/orthodontist to apply some flouride varnish on your teeth to prevent further cavities. and also give you suggestions on how to brush properly.
