Hi OK further information, OCD and depression are not same, however they can coexist. OCD can create intrusive thoughts, unwanted thoughts and images which creates a lot of stress. Being in this kind of a stress state can cause depressive feelings like sadness nor wanting to talk to anyone preferring to be alone. You don't because you're always lost in your thoughts. So they can be a Co morbid, as in they can coexist but then they are not same. OK, depression is different. No CD comes under anxiety disorders. However, don't get perturbed. Seek help. Reach out to me, we can start some therapy sessions, specially CBT, ERP or depending on whatever. Problems you have and we can work it out. All the best.

Both are 2 condition which can be found in the same person. Both are due to altered serotonergic system in mind pathways and due to OCD it is common for a person to be secondarily depresses. Treatment of Both involves similar medications and CBT techniques. Consult an astute psychiatrist either in person or online and seek remedy.
