If you r 17 yr old. U may go for bone age. By xray. If bones have still not fused then there may be some chance of height increase. If you have achieved the average of your parents height, then it may not increase otherwise we have to do reports for growth hormone deficiency and hypothyroidism. Consult an endocrinologist

Unlikely to be benefitted. Height is 90% genetic, rest is nutritional, physical exercise and posture
Focus on keeping good health, height mostly does not increase after puberty
Height increase mainly depends on genetics and growth plate activity in bones. In females, the growth plates usually close between 16–18 years, after which height increase becomes very minimal or stops.
If you gained about 1 inch last year, it may mean your growth plates were still partially open. At 17 years, there is still a small possibility of slight growth, but supplements alone cannot significantly increase height.
Next Steps
If you want to check whether further height increase is possible, you can do an X-ray of the left wrist (bone age test) to see if the growth plates are still open.
Focus on proper nutrition rather than supplements: ensure adequate protein, calcium, and vitamin D intake
Health Tips
Do regular stretching exercises, skipping, swimming, yoga, and hanging exercises, which help maintain good posture and support natural growth.Contact me anytime on practo for further consultation

Height increase after 17 years is usually limited as growth plates may start closing.
Diet, exercise, and good sleep help general health but supplements rarely increase height significantly.
Consult a doctor if you want proper evaluation and advice.
Hello.
At 17 years of age, some people may still have a small amount of remaining growth potential, but height is mainly determined by genetics and the status of growth plates in bones. Supplements or medicines alone usually cannot increase height significantly once growth plates start closing.
Next steps:
If you want to know whether further height increase is possible, a doctor may advise an X-ray of the wrist (bone age test) to see if the growth plates are still open.
Helpful tips:
• Maintain a balanced diet rich in protein, calcium, and vitamins (milk, curd, eggs, nuts, green vegetables)
• Ensure regular exercise, stretching, and outdoor activities
• Get adequate sleep (7–8 hours), as growth hormone is released during sleep
• Avoid relying on unproven supplements or medicines claiming height increase
If needed, you may consult a general physician or endocrinologist for proper evaluation and guidance regarding growth potential.
You are only 17 years old.
Still many years to go during which time you can gain height naturally (without any treatment) .
There is no treatment which can help you gain height after the ossification of the bones has occurred (age 21 - 22).
Your height is primarily determined by your genetics, and once the growth plates of your bone fuse, it’s unlikely for you to grow in height further, which for females is mostly attained by 14-16 years of age.
The only way in which supplements like calcium or vitamin D can help is if you are deficient and the supplements help you attain the optimal nutrition to reach your full potential height, which at the end of the day is determined by your genes

At 17 years of age, some height growth may still be possible, but it mainly depends on whether the growth plates (epiphyseal plates) of the bones are still open. Once these plates close, further height increase is usually not possible. Height is largely determined by genetics and hormones, not by supplements alone.
Some Ayurvedic or nutritional supplements may support overall health and bone nutrition, but they cannot significantly increase height if the growth plates have already closed. The only way to know your remaining growth potential is through an X-ray of the wrist to assess bone age.
Next Steps
• Consult a doctor for a bone age X-ray to see whether your growth plates are still open.
• Ensure a balanced diet rich in protein, calcium, vitamin D, and other micronutrients.
• Maintain regular physical activity and proper sleep, which are important for growth hormone release.
• Avoid relying solely on unverified supplements promising height increase, as most have limited scientific evidence.
Health Tips
• Include foods like milk, curd, eggs, paneer, lentils, nuts, green vegetables, and fruits in your diet.
• Get adequate sunlight exposure for vitamin D.
• Activities like stretching exercises, swimming, yoga, and sports help maintain good posture and musculoskeletal health.
• Maintain 7–9 hours of good sleep, as growth hormone release is higher during deep sleep.
If you’d like, you can book an online consultation and share your current height, parents’ height, and any previous reports, and I can guide you on whether there is still potential for further height growth and what steps may help.
