Tasting something different needs evaluation...I mean to say when you think about your favourite food sometimes you can feel it's taste which is normal and is a proven phenomenon. But feeling a specific kind of taste like metallic,or many other may be sign of a disorder,so clarify your kind of problem for further help.Dont jump into diagnosis

Detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed for every patient to make a diagnosis and management of the symptoms accordingly.A detailed mental status examination is also recommended for every patient.
Next Steps
What you have mentioned doesn’t appear to be “Hallucinations” if we go in detailed of the definition of hallucinations.
Health Tips
You have talked about “doubts “ about some things you should not have done but many other points are to be excluded before making the diagnosis of your case. Don’t worry. Be positive in your thoughts. Take the help from a mental health professional either face to face or online consultation. Remember, you are not alone in this world who has developed such problems and the best part is that the symptoms are treatable.
