Is it cureable by medicine?
My mother's neck has been swollen for 1 year.i have done TSH and free thyroid test and also USG of neck..kindly tell me is it cureable by medicine or have to do surgery?

She should get her FNAC. After that surgical removal of the left lobe of Thyroid.

In my opinion a Fine needle aspiration cytology is needed first. Most likely she will need surgery to remove the cyst. It will not be relieved by medications alone. There are more things that will affect this than these reports alone.

Thyroid functions are normal so no medicines will be needed. However Get the FNAC done as advised.that will decide if surgery is needed.
