Mere rise in WBC Count does not mean you have Septicaemia or Bacteraemia. Sometimes that is a very serious life threatening situation. If blood culture is negative then you may rest assured that whatever infection is presumed in your body, has not reached the blood stream. Suitable antibacterial prescribed by your physician will take care of it in next few days. Have patience and faith in your treating physician provided he is duly qualified to treat you.
