Continue feeding, avoid sugary drinks/sodas
Provide easy to digest food like rice, curd, banana
Avoid spicy and oily foods
Ensure adequate rest and comfort to the child
No need of any antibiotics as of now
Most children recover within a few days. With proper care at home and close monitoring, your child should be fine.

Watch for red flags:

Give ORS (oral rehydration solution) in small frequent sips. 100 ml after each loose stools.
Use zinc syrup (20/5) 5 ml od for 10–14 days (commonly prescribed in diarrhea).
Econorm sachet 1/2 sachet bd
Feed curd, banana, khichdi, rice water, dahi or mashed potato. Chhaas , shikanji , coconut water.
Avoid: packaged juices, dairy (except curd), sugary drinks, fried food, outside food.
