You should eat Low FODMAP food items and avoid high FODMAP food items I hope you are familiar with the concept of FODMAP diet - you have to eat low FODMAP food items for a set duration of time while strictly avoiding High FODMAP food items
Next Steps
You need to slow start reintroducing High FODMAP food items to understand which of the high FODMAP food is triggering your symotoms of IBS so that can be completely eliminated from your diet. This diet may not necessarily help you with fat loss.
Health Tips
I suggest you follow this diet under supervision since long term low FODMAP diet is not good for your gut microbes and can affect your health adversely. Weight (fat ) loss for you should be done under supervision. Hope this helps!
