My wife is having irregular periods post delivery. She got her first period at 45th day post delivery and after that getting her period within 10 to 15 days.
She gave birth via C-section and no health issues.
Our baby is 4 month old and this is first pregnancy.
Her Menstrual cycle was normal before delivery.
Is it normal to have irregular periods?
How to get back to regular menstrual cycle?
Thanks in advance..

I suggest you should use an effective contraception.
Since it is a problem of irregular periods the best will be to go for low dose Oral Contraceptive. It will not affect breast feeding for the baby and your periods will become regular.
You are having irregular periods, so it will be difficult to time intercourse as a method of Contraception. Oral Contraceptive is better.
Get ur USG to be done.....and it is quite normal during breastfeeding.....so if USG scan is normal then no need to worry ....and during this period use barrier methods so that pregnancy not occur
Do a Urine pregnancy test if you both have been sexually active post delivery.
Also you need to use contraception hence forth.
Cycles will regularise eventually.
