Iron supplements for baby
My baby boy is 8 month old. his haemoglobin was "9" 1 month back.can I give him iron supplements now. In what quantity I should give him iron drops.(hemsi pd)

give 0.6 ml of drops. Give on empty stomach. Best absorbed Never mix with mi lk or calcium . Best is to give on empty stomach. To continue for 3months. Stay safe at home, start banana.

Always mention weight of the baby. Assuming average weight of 8 kg, you should give 1ml per day. Low Hemoglobin can be due to other causes than iron deficiency. Please consult a pediatrician with full report before starting
