Hi,
You can take an anti emetic ( zofer) currently. Do not take more than 16 mg of the medicine per day.
It's always better to understand the cause of your symptoms. The gastric problem you have mentioned could be due to a lot of reasons
- an irregular diet
- delayed sleep wake cycles affecting diet
- use of alcohol or smoking
- stress at work or home
If you can address any of these, then it might help prevent a recurrence
Iron cases gastric side effects, including nausea, gas and sometimes constipation. you can take zofer and sompraz, but if this persist or returns, then do take consultation.
Were you feeling nauseous previously also with periods?
Is there constipation?

Hello..
One of the side effects of iron in oral or either parenteral preparations is nausea and vomitings
So you can use any anti emetic like zofer half and hour before intake of your food for at least 3 days..
It will relieve your symptoms

Yes, you can take Zofer (ondansetron) for nausea
IV iron can cause gastric irritation or gut side effects in some people.
Since your CBC and other reports are normal, it’s likely a temporary reaction.
Continue Sompraz (for acid) and Instaraft (for bloating)
Take Zofer as needed for nausea (1 tab, up to 2–3/day)
Eat light, bland meals and stay well-hydrated
If symptoms continue consult a gastroenterologist.
