Hello, i am having insulin resistance from 2-3 years. From last 4 months i got to know that i am also suffering from Acanthosis Nigricans. I want to know whether i can eat a banana before workout?

Diabetes not cure it can be prevented by diet so follow three main things like healthy diet, exercise and brisk walk morning and evening. For reducing insulin resistance add low carb diet in ur diet. Add cinamenon in beverages & other food. Avoid sweet fruits.

Hi, Banana is high on glycemic index. Ideally for Insulin resistance you need to opt for low glycemic index foods (Slow absorption of sugar from food). You could have other fruits before workout and opt for Banana about twice a week.
