Hi Based on the symptoms you have mentioned, you may be having a form of sleep disoreder called as delayed sleep phase disorder. This happens because your time of onset of sleep is later at night than others and which causes discrepancy with your worktimes.
Next Steps
You may have to consult a psychiatrist. In the meantime try sleep hygiene measures as mentioned below: Have fixed sleep times, say 10 pm Your bed is only for sleep (don't lie on the bed other than sleep times such as using phone, watching TV, reading or eating) Avoid daytime naps Avoid stimulants such as coffee or tea after 5 pm in the evening Avoid smoking and alcohol use If possible have a warm water bath before going to bed, warm milk and few almonds before sleep (said to give restful sleep) The above measures when practiced continously will help a lot. Kindly revert back if the above measures don't help.
Health Tips
Kindly consult a psychiatrist before taking any meds. Don't go for over the counter medications from pharmacies - you may become addicted Sleep disturbances can be a part of depression and anxiety too - needs evaluation by a qualified psychiatrist.
