I injured my second toe three days back. The pain and swelling hasn't reduced since. The top part of the toe has become more bluish black. It is difficult to walk. The pain comes and goes. It is not unbearable but definitely cannot walk normally by putting weight on it. How long will it take to heal? Is it a fracture? What can be done to improve the swelling and pain. Attached a photo for you to see.

Hello, such swelling suggests minor fracture in toe.
You need to visit the Orthopaedic clinic, get xray foot ap and oblique view. Start analgesics with antiinflammatory drugs for atleast one week. You might need strapping and support to the toe.
