Information regarding vit d3 drops...
Hello doctors... Actually my baby is 11.5 months old...I went for her regular checkup to pediatrician yesterday..he said she is too weak... And gave her multivitamin drops(1ml to be given twice)... Cholecalciferol sachets(half sachet to be given weekly)... Plus he said to continue 0.5ml vit d3 drops... I didnt gave her yet... I thought to ask here... I want to know can I give so much vit d3 at a time...as multivitamin also contains vit d... Cholecalciferol half sachet means 30k iu ...and her vit d3 drops 0.5ml has 400iu ... What to do... Isnt the dosage more...or is it correct. ...please help me... Attached here is pic of cholecalciferol sachets and multivitamin drops(1ml twice) Please suggest

Larger doses taken over a long period of time will cause problems. Over a short duration no side effects reported. U can always give other multi vitamin drops not containing D3 as an alternative....plenty available in the market like A to Z drops.
