Infection in mouth walls
Hi Sir, My problem is I am observing small coin sized spot in my moth side walls since 5 months, which is not having pain but giving little sensation some times. And recently I got one more spot above front teeth gums. I am feeling like it's spreading across moth. I visited dentist they are telling it's not dental problem. Physician is not even looking at it and just giving some medicine. Its not getting cured. I am having IBS problem, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D deficiency. Kindly Please suggest some solution for it. Thank You Regards Vidya

You must get a detailed consult from a Oral Medicine and Diagnostic dentist. Some deficiencies and systemic conditions manifest as ulcers in the mouth.

Since you already know that you have IBS, I am sure you must be following the correct diet and food habits suggested by your physician. High fiber diet...reduce milk and cheese intake... do not take stress...regular exercises. Are you on any medication for IBS since a long time ? We need to take a complete history along with proper examination. Yes deficiency of Vitamins may cause lesions in the oral cavity. Hence you need to eat healthy and take in supplements for Vitamin deficiency. But all this requires a complete history and examination.
Next Steps
Visit your physician as well as dentist. Give a detailed history of medications you have been taking.
Health Tips
As I mentioned...high fiber diet will help you ease bowel movements.
