Suddenly my gums near the teeth have swollen and I guess they have pus in them. It does not hurt though. Someone told me its scurvy so I am taking vitamin C. Picture attached.

Hi...Firstly there is nothing to worry.its not a major issue..Visit a dentist get a professional cleaning done.he will teach you the right method of brushing..and may prescribe you a gum astringent.
Next Steps
don't forget to visit the dentist atleast once a year....such situation can keep recurring if hygiene not maintained well.
