I've been having impulse anger issues as long as I can remember and it only gets worse by the day. Although I'm not physically violent, I'm afraid that won't take long.

Anger is a unaddressed emotion. Good that you are already motivated to work on your anger. See a therapist he can teach you anger management techniques. DEBT can be very useful as demandingness is the core of many anger issues.
