Burning sensation in vagina every few months, relieved after taking antibiotic and antifungal medications. My wife was worried as to why it was occurring so frequently. She took some tests of stds, found out her igG was positive for herpes. But dermatologist and gynaecologist told her not to worry, not to rely on this report alone, told her if the infection was there, clinical manifestations would have occurred. Visibly there are no changes during the burning episodes. But the infections keep on occurring every few months. This last episode (30/04/2022) has yet not relieved even after taking antibiotic, antifungal and antihelminthic medications. She ways takes her medications for the full course.
