Herpes test result-
HSV 1+2 IgG = 28
HSV 1+2 IgM = 0.50
What does it means ?
Am I got infection 6 weeks ago during sex or it is old infection.
I met two dermatologist but both of them replied opposite to each other.
I am confused.
Any doctor please help me to aware with the truth.

Herpes virus infection is widespread and easily acquired. Yours seems to be an old infection since it takes time for igG to develop. There is no need for any treatment if there are no symptoms.
