I-pill side effects
Hello doc I've taken 2 i-pills in after intercourse of 2times in one month. I've noticed my periods got lighter than usual and some minor changes in periods days. How long this side effects stays? And will it create any problem in future pregnancy? Please let me know

Ideally, you should not take any ipill because it cause the menstrual irregularity . At least minimum for 2 to 3 months menstrual irregularity may continue

The side effects usually settle in next cycle. No problem in future pregnancy but try to avoid emergency contraceptive rather take oral contraceptive pills .

Emergency pills are known to cause irregular vaginal bleeding and delayed periods the side effect of one pill can last up to a month this will not create any problem in future pregnancy
