I'm unable to do night shift

I have been doing night shift since a year by now untill few months I didn't face any difficulty but recently I'm facing too much difficulty phycially and mentally as well..I'm facing extreme head ache n eye pain at one side and kind of sadness at night
I'm feeling so much difficulty can I get a medical certificate as suggested by my employer.
