The problem might not be your front tooth are too large,it may be due to many reason...
*** your teeth or either side are too small,This is obvious your lateral baby teeth are retained,or peg laterals or your erupted permanent teeth are too small...

*** your gums in front teeth may be too low (central incisor)and too high on your side teeth(lateral incisor)....
