So self diagnostic is very difficult to deal with i requesr you nor to read out symptoms on Google as it will only increase your anxiety and make your condition worse .
If you feel you are suffering through obsessive compulsions seek a psychologist they are highly trained in diagnosing and treating this in a healthy manner
Dear You,
It would be hard to explain in words. So here is an example..
Imagine that you doubt you might be pregnant.
What you do to solve that doubt. You take a test.
Same goes with any mental illness.
When in doubt solve it.
Get yourself tested. YES THERE ARE TESTING TOOL FOR OCD or anyother mental illness.
Next Steps
Go to any psychiatric clinic or psychological assessment center. They will give you a paper pencil test or take a clinical history. Then guide you further.
Thyroid play important role in mood swings but not related with ocd. Can you please explain your symptoms whatever you observed in yourself like intrusive thoughts about checking or touching things multiple times in a day, washing hands or extra care of hygiene etc.
Next Steps
If you have symptoms you can go for psychotherapy.
