I did antigen test which was positive. I am taking precautions since then. If it is positive then RTPCR is still needed?

Obviously COVID is surging & it's also panicking.
Once you have been positive in one of the tests, you have no need to test for further. Maintain the isolation protocol till 7 days or your symptoms gets better.
Take rest & all the medications.
Yes, if you have COVID there is chances that you can spread COVID to others. So stay isolated as much as you can.
