I am suffering from knee pain
Two and half years back I met with an accident which caused knee dislocation. It also had blood clots inside. Though it was cured after two months but from last months I am suffering from knee pain which I believe to be for the same reason. I need some good advice from an orthopedic, Who can help me cure the problem without having to go under a knife.

You have to be sure whether it was knee dislocation, patella dislocation or just injury to knee. Knee dislocation leads to torn ligaments. Atleast 2 ligaments are torn and may be meniscus as well. It definitely needs surgery, longer you wait, more is damage, worse is the recovery. Patella dislocation causes MPFL tear, it can be treated without surgery if it's first dislocation of patella. I feel you need to consult sports medicine specialists, Arthroscopy surgeon. Get MRI of knee at best centre with 3 Tesla machine. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area

You should consult an orthopaedician for proper assessment, diagnosis and treatment. An MRI may be required.

You say your knee was dislocated. If that is indeed a proper dislocation then your ligaments would have suffered extensive damage. The ligaments need to be assessed. You will need to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon for examination and any investigations as appropriate. An MRI scan will give the full information. Hope this helps.
