Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck Exercises. Neck Stretching. Postural Correction. Shoulder Shrugs . Core Strengthening Exercises. Take frequent Breaks at work Use cervical pillow. Use Back Support. Self Massage the back of neck.

It's due to myofascial trigger points presence in supraspinatus ,teres minor ,major , lattismus dorsi and upper trapezius muscles of shoulder girdle ..
Next Steps
just CHK out to a sports physio clinic and request him/her to release all these mentioned muscles by manually or through dry needling and kinesiolocial taping

If sleeping on the hand or folding it over a period of time causes tingling . It happens due to compression of the nerve . If it happens without any pressure then it will need treatment. Otherwise it is considered normal.
