How different is hysterectomy polypectomy from a hysterectomy? What is the D&C performed? My procedure details are mentioned in the sheet attached. Please explain .

I think you are enquiring regarding a hysteroscopy and polypectomy which is seeing the inside of the uterus with a camera, seeing the number of polyps and removing them under camera guidance, when we do it without camera guidance it is called D and C where we scrape the cavity and remove the polyps. Hysterectomy is removing the entire uterus

D&C is dilatation and curettage, done obtaining endometrial tissue. Polypectomy is the excision of polyp. Hysterectomy is the removal of uterus.
