HYPOTHYROIDISM
I am suffering from Hypothyroid .My Tsh in September 2018 was 456(t3 and t4 were low as in hypothyroid). I started taking both (REASON mentioned below) Allopathy(thyroxin sodium 200mg/day) and Homeopathy medicines, then in october it went to 1.5 and again in November when my dosage was 12.5mg/day it went upto 286. Throughout the period the homeopathy medicine were consistant. REASON :- The idea as per my homeopathy doctor was to slowly reduce the allopathy medicines and then completely run on homeopathy and treat it completely. So I took both. But it is clear from the reports that the condition is more dependent on allopathy. And also my allopathy doctor said u have to take medicines throughout my life. So please help me as to :- 1. Can Hypothyroid be cured without Allopathy ? 2. Can Hypothyroid be cured completely ? 3. What should be my approach as per the above mentioned case ? *** I would kindly request you to give answer specific to my case on 3 questions asked above.

The most cause of hypothyroidism is Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is an auto immune disorder in which the antibodies are produced by the immune system against its own tissue, which in turn attacks the thyroid gland resulting in hypothyroidism.Severe Iodine defficiency can also lead to hypothyroidism . 1-yes it can be cured without allopathy but when there are many symptoms on body because of that or person has already started taking thyroxin for it then its advisable to take both hpathy and thyroxin together then graduaally taper on the dose of thyroxin. 2-yes there is complete cure time may very person to person. 3-in your case it seems you tapered the dose of thyroxin so fastly..suppose if you were taking 200 mg per day then after two to three month it should be 100+75 mg then gradually to 150 then onwards..sudden withdrawl is nt helpfull also hpathy help your system to cure by itself so take some time especially such cases i.e diabetes thyroid etc. pls recheck with your doctor.
