Hyper acidity
My dad is been suffering from hyper acidity since last one year. Undergone various treatment but no as such improvements. Even after taking PPI he feels heart burn in mid night. Recently done blood test his H.pylori test is positive. Other than that everything is normal no sugar no bp no past history of anything. Need guidance for further treatment.

Avoid oily and spicy food.avoid eating food from outside.stop tea, coffee and alcohol in case you are taking.take high fiber diet and add more fruits into your diet.connect please for further consultation

H pylori is detected either by urease breath test or stool testing for h pylori antigen.Blood test is not reliable.If he is tested positive for h pylori , treatment for the same is initiated.If no response,he may have to go for a upper GI endoscopy.Get a baseline 12 lead ECG as well.
