Diabetes can indeed have an impact on sperm DNA integrity. Studies have shown that men with diabetes may have higher levels of sperm DNA fragmentation compared to non-diabetic men.
Managing diabetes through proper diet, exercise, and medication can help mitigate these effects and improve overall reproductive health. If there are concerns about fertility or sperm quality, it’s advisable to consult a healthcare provider or a specialist in reproductive medicine.
