He can bring his sugar level to desired value by following -
- strict diet
- exercise and
- if needed , then medication
but that doesn't mean your Diabetes has reversed.
There is no cure for type 2 dm , as sugar levels are within normal range doesn't mean the patient is non diabetic . As Patient will still have to follow life style modifications to maintain those normal sugar levels
