HSV 1+2 IgM positive but IgG negative
My recent Herpes Simplex Virus 1&2 IgM test came back positive with a value of 2.54 while IgG test was negative with a value of 0.32.
My last so called expsoure was 45 days old. I don't have any symptoms so far. No sores on face/mouth or on genitals. Does IgG take time to show up in bloodstream or is there a chance of a false positive in IgM test?
