HSG test and its side effect
Hi doctor
I have done HSG test 4 days ago and report says No Blockage
I have taken antibiotics prescribed by doc
From last two days iam having back pain which I generally use to get around periods time
So Can you please let me know what are the side effects of HSG, in long run also any other side effects please let me know

This pain will subside itself. There is no side effect of HSG don’t worry.

not to be worried it doesnt cause a long term side effect .the pain will subside.

The dye that they inject during HSG gives rise to that severe pain. It will subside automatically. The tubes are patent is good news.

It is a test to see if the tubes are open or blocked
Yes it's a painful procedure n u may continue to hv pain post procedure
