Hsg test-patent tubes with minimal spill
I have done hsg test done and the impression is bilateral patent fallopian tubes with minimal spillage of contrast- ? Peritoneal adhesions..
I don't have any history of appendicitis or any surgery done..apart from pcod I don't have any other health related concerns..I am advised to do laproscopy for the same..Is there any other reason other than peritoneal adhesions for the minimal spillage of contrast please help..

Tubes being patent (open) is good news. Minimal spillage can be due to peritoneal adhesions, but also endometriosis (common with PCOS), prior pelvic infection (PID), or even a technical factor during the test. Laparoscopy is the only way to confirm and also treat all these causes in one go. Don't worry too much â tubes are open.
