Can 2 HRCT Thorax ( 1.5 years apart) cause cancer ? Some say it will cause and some say, no it does not cause. What is the fact here ?

The fact is that there are more chances of your getting cancer due to environmental pollution than getting it due to 2 HRCT. So if you want to migrate to the Moon or Mars for the rest of your life then you can worry about getting 2 HRCT. Otherwise forget it.

It totally depends on your health condition and the surrounding you live as it can be multifactorial leading to any lung pathology depending on your clinical symptoms and the HRCT finding it can be diagnosed as a cancerous condition and there is no such thing that it can't result in a cancerous condition as 1.5 yrs is a good period of time

It is advisable to avoid  repeated CT scan as far as possible, as it's radiation exposure But doesn't mean one will have Cancer
