How to treat benign tumors of liver

Hi my uncle is 67 year old and has been an alcoholic since many years. He already has liver cirrhosis and has been under medications. Recently since he was unwell we did some tests and he was detected with a benign tumour of the liver. Does tumors develop in liver? How dangerous it can be?
