Nothing gets cured ever. If a Psychologist is telling you that they can cure it, they are lying. Through therapy you learn how to cope with these situations. Everyone gets anxious at some or the other point in their lives. If you have an anxiety disorder, then that can be diagnosed through therapy and you will be given guidance on how to deal with it. It can take a lot of sessions. If you want to lose 20 kgs weight, wouldn't you go the gym everyday and take proper diet? Thats how physical health exercises work. You cant go only for a week or two and expect to lose all the weight. Mental health exercises (therapy) also work like that. First few sessions just go in sharing about your life. You can't expect to be all right in a few sessions. If you stop taking therapy after a few sessions, then dont waste that money also. Its better to not take therapy. But if you want your life to be on track and be mentally and emotionally well, you will have to spend on therapy sessions and continue taking therapy until you learn how to cope with difficult situations in your life. I don't mince and sugarcoat my words. Thats exactly how therapy works.
Next Steps
Consider taking professional help/therapy/counselling. It will definitely help. Video consultations are as powerful as face to face sessions. There's hardly any difference

Hello, The effectiveness of online psychotherapy sessions for anxiety and depression can vary from person to person. While some individuals may experience significant improvement after just a few sessions, for others, it may take several sessions to see noticeable results. It's important to keep in mind that therapy is a process, and healing takes time. The number of sessions needed depends on various factors including the severity of symptoms, individual circumstances, and the type of therapy used. Typically, a course of therapy can range from several weeks to several months or even longer for more complex issues. Regarding the price per session, you mentioned it's around 1100. Prices for therapy sessions can vary based on the therapist's credentials, location, and the type of therapy provided. It's essential to discuss pricing and payment options with your therapist before starting treatment. As for the impact and timeframe for seeing results, many individuals start to notice positive changes within the first few sessions, such as gaining insight into their thoughts and behaviors or learning coping strategies. However, achieving long-lasting results often requires consistent attendance and active participation in therapy sessions over time. Ultimately, the goal of therapy is to provide you with the tools and support needed to manage your anxiety and depression effectively, leading to improved overall well-being. It's essential to communicate openly with your therapist about your progress, concerns, and goals to ensure you're on the path to the best possible outcome.

Every therapist has his/her own approach and this the fees would be dependent on that. Psychotherapy requires time, patience and a lot of will.

Dear User, Getting help from a mental health professional will highly benefit you in aiding anxiety and depression. However, it’s a process oriented modality and there is no set time for feeling better. It may take anywhere from 8-10 sessions for you to get a better understanding of your symptoms and how to start managing them. Sessions are generally for 50 to 60 minutes duration.
Next Steps
Consult a Clinical Psychologist. You may connect with me too.
Health Tips
Doing breathing exercises and focusing on a proper sleeping and eating routine will benefit you.

Hi. Therapy is a slow and long process and usually takes time. If the issue has been a problem since many years, it is natural that it will take some time to unpack and uncover those feelings/thoughts/emotions and for you to get past it. Most clinics offer a sliding scale so if finances are an issue they can do something to help you there. You will learn how to manage those feelings of anxiety and depression much better with the help of a psychologist, rather than trying to navigate it by yourself.
