My husband age 47 height 6.2 weight 100kg.He have high pressure 160/102.Presently he is taking Prolomet XL50 & Telvas H 80.He is very angry all the time.Earlier his pressure was 220/120.Can someone please guide how to overcome this problem.

Most important, decrease the stress by indulging in some yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, walking or aerobics.
Deceased salty and deep fried food.
Increase in fresh fruits and veggies.
A very good sleep is very helpful to bring down the stress level and the BP.
An approach to decrease the weight by strict dietary plan and regular exercise or any physical activity also helps!

He needs to make modifications to his diet,exercise and sleep pattern to further reduce his blood pressure..only medicines will not help. Once blood pressure and weight come down,his physical and mental health will improve.
