Hi, Looks like your husband needs more of life style modifications. Only medications is never the complete management. Most important, decrease the stress by indulging in some yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, walking or aerobics. Deceased salty and deep fried food. Increase in fresh fruits and veggies. A very good sleep is very helpful to bring down the stress level and the BP. An approach to decrease the weight by strict dietary plan and regular exercise or any physical activity also helps! Knowing a detailed history of a patient is essential for complete medical advice. Please connect for any further query.

He needs to make modifications to his diet, exercise and sleep pattern to further reduce his blood pressure..only medicines will not help. Once blood pressure and weight come down, his physical and mental health will improve.
