High pitched noise in ear

Hello, I am starting to hear a very loud noise, in my left ear, I noticed it only today. It is heard suddenly and lasts only for 2 or 3 seconds if I am not wrong. I have tinnitus, but it is very mild whereas this noise is really high-pitched, can it be due to any deficiency? Thank you.

I have had a constant high pitched noise in my ears, mainly the left one, for over a week. It's not painful. I am taking prednisolone and naproxen for arthritis and was unsure if it was related to the noise in my ears
