High myopia with normal retina.
Hello Good day Currently , I have high myopia with -10 in right eye and -6.5 in left stable for last 2 years. The doctor did some tests and said retina and other things are normal and just because I did not wear glasses with the correct power it got increased again after becoming stable at -7.5 and -4.5 (was stable for an year). I have floaters disturbing me sometimes as it comes to the centre of the vision . it was at the bottom before my eye power increased to -10 in right eye So now coming to my worry. If there is PVD at any point in my future will it cause issues in retina considering my present situation. ?? I am worried that whenever there is PVD there are chances for retinal pull and detachment I am taking eye surge tablets . I have dry eyes some times

There can be issue with retina later as u fall in risk zone for retinal detachment. If u see increased floaters, flashes of light or sudden decreased vision... approach to Ophthalmologist immediately. Till then don't worry..we don't live worrying about something that may or may not happen in future. being vigilant is necessary now..nothing more...For dry eyes, u can put flogel eye drops 2 to 3 times a day.
