High Fever with headache
High fever since yesterday morning and cold since last week.Doctor consulted symptoms of dengue.

Dengue,unfortunately,is overdiagnosed and overhyped in Delhi-ncr.
Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside.
Unless accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
Even in dengue,proved by blood tests,medically significant situation is IF platelets are below 20,000.
