High Fever
Hi. My baby is having high fever since yesterday. We are giving paracetamol 120 every 6 hours 6 ml dose. However the fever comes back every 4-5 hours and it's high, more than 102. What should be the next action. Can we give paracetamol more frequently? Paracetamol 120 is better or Dolo MF?

Try syp meftal p 3.5 ml fever >102 f.,if fever continues high grade consult doctor .

Paracetamol is OK & can be repeated after 4-6 hours. You are advised to physically consult your Doctor for further advice

The child can be given 7 ml of paracetamol 120mg/ 5 ml
6 th hourly
If the child is well , active in between fever you can wait for 2 more days
If the child is dull, vomiting, not taking food then please consult a paediatrician
